CS. Recruitment is a specialist construction recruitment consultancy based in Sydney, Australia. We have a combined 25 years of construction & recruitment experience, which gives us a unique perspective when it comes to the hiring process.
We are industry specialists who understand the market intimately, from both a client’s & candidate’s standpoint. We know that in construction, time and quality are 2 of the most valuable commodities, so our main goal is to save our clients time & provide the best quality candidates possible in a seamless process. Candidates can rest assured that we only work with the most reputable firms in the industry, and we are very selective when taking on new clients, as it has a strong baring on the CS. Recruitment brand.
We are genuinely passionate about what we do, and hope this is reflected in our approach to recruitment. Our business is built on strong, long-term relationships with a network that we have cultivated over many years recruiting at the forefront of the Australian construction industry, and we hope will continue for many years to come.
Our business consists of 2 arms; CS. Recruitment and CS. Exec. CS. Recruitment covers a range of white-collar positions from junior to mid-senior level hires. You can read more about this HERE.

Built Differently
Unlike most other recruiters, I worked in the industry for 7 years prior to making the switch to recruitment; 2 years labouring for my Dad’s construction company while studying for my QS degree, and 5 years as a Quantity Surveyor delivering several projects from inception to hand over, which has given me a unique insight to project resourcing which many recruiters aren’t able to obtain.
I truly believe this gives us a unique advantage when guiding clients and candidates through the recruitment process, as we can offer a comprehensive, honest consultation and technical search service, as opposed to a transactional scattergun approach which we are seeing far too often in today’s market.
Our goal is to build & maintain long lasting relationships with the most reputable and high performing companies in the market, and we are happy to play the long game in order to achieve this.
Meet the Team

Chris Gill
Managing Director
As a degree qualified quantity surveyor with 13+ years’ experience in UK and Australia, I have a broad knowledge of the construction industry & the recruitment process as a whole.
My strengths lie in understanding the life-cycle of construction projects, building relationships to ensure that my clients receive a quality service and developing business for the future. I've helped build teams for a variety of different companies including; Tier 1, 2 & 3 builders, privately owned developer-builders & start-ups.

Over the past 8 years, I have built a vast network of clients & candidates who predominantly operate in the following sectors: commercial, multi-unit residential, schools, hospitals, aged care, data centres, hospitality, retail, hotels, fit-out/refurb & civil infrastructure.
I'm passionate about construction, people & business, and this led me to establishing CS. Recruitment in May 2021.
We are currently operating across NSW, QLD, VIC & ACT in Australia, and South East England & London in UK, with further plans to expand our coverage in the next few years.

Beth Hood
Associate Director
Beth has been in the construction recruitment industry for the last 12 years providing recruitment solutions across the UK and Australia.
She prides herself on a personable, attentive approach to the recruitment process, making sure both candidates and clients feel valued and respected whilst building strong and honest relationships.

Beth is a mum of two girls and has a strong emphasis on helping women in construction.
​
She wants females to feel confident in the workplace whether it be assisting with the key steps in their career to become leaders in the workplace. She is on hand to assist and build confidence to make career goals achievable.
Beth will focus on site based delivery construction professionals. She will work with our established contractor client base recruiting junior- mid level roles within the commercial, residential, industrial, Data Centres, mixed use and public work sectors.

Hyna marie pardo

Hyna has been working in the construction industry for over 10 years now, specialising in document control, administration, permits management and resourcing. She joined CS. Recruitment in 2021 as candidate manager and has become a valuable member of the team.
She has a variety of responsibilities including; candidate outreach, resourcing, database management, graphic design, CV formatting and administration.

Hyna is often the first point of contact at CS. Recruitment for many of our candidates, and has contributed to many placements over the years.
